End of life Doula Completed course: October 2016 Other modalities of practice: Reiki and Life coach Languages spoken: English
Being a Doula resonates with my being on a very deep level, because my heart and soul sing when I support others. Being in service to others (including pets) is a rewarding part of the journey as I continue to grow and learn. People are amazing beings and my life is a constant dance of giving, receiving, learning, observing and being. Completing the End of Life training was an exciting moment, one I've anticipated and worked towards for many years without even knowing it. I've studied different modalities, travelled, coached and supported many people and animals over the years - however something always felt incomplete. Being present with and supporting a person at the End of Life is a huge honour, as it is holding the space for them to be herd and acknowledged. Listening to people's stories, experiences and successes, develops relationships and intimacy that in turn creates memories. The people I support live on in my heart and mind, testimony to the incredible beings we all are.
